    Unlike any other structural specification under EN10025 S460 material does not have any direct equivalents in ASTM or Shipbuilding (ABS/BV/LR) designations.

    S460NL & S460ML is used in a number of offshore and onshore applications e.g. legs supports for a jack up platform offshore and as mooring piles for a LNG onshore terminal.

    S460NL
    A normalised material with a minimum yield strength of 450 N/mm2 that has been impact tested at -50°C. S460NL is produced under European designation EN10025-3.

    S460ML
    A thermo-mechanically rolled material with a minimum yield strength of 450 N/mm2 that has been impact tested at -50°C. S460ML is produced under European designation EN10025-4 (TMCP).

    are able to supply a wide range of S460 material (in both normalised and TMCP conditions), our material ranges from 6mm to 80mm thick and up to 3 metre’s wide and 12 metre’s in length.
